New England Seacoast Region EAA Chapter 225 To Hold
Young Eagle Flight Rally
Rochester, NH - Young people between the ages of 8 through 17 are entitled
to a free ride and experience flight in an airplane with EAA's Young Eagle
Program. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 1st from 9
am to 4 pm at Skyhaven Airport on Route 108. Rain date is Sunday,
October 2nd. EAA Chapter 225, a local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft
Association based at Rochester's Skyhaven Airport has flown more than 800
children, having been in the program since its inception in 1992.
The flight is fun, safe and flown by a licensed and experienced volunteer
pilot whose life has been enhanced by aviation. The program is designed
to provide young people with view into the world of aviation. The flights
are provided free of charge, last about 25 minutes and together with a
special registration form need a parent or guardian signature for permission.
Children will receive a special certificate commemorating the event on
their flight day, and a photo of their flight will be mailed at a later
date. The event is open to all children residing in Rochester and
surrounding communities of the seacoast. For more information contact
